(How we work)

We have a process, not rigid templates. It adjusts to fit your challenge, not the other way around.

01
Start with clarity

We start by listening and asking the right questions. Before designing anything, we align on context, goals, and what success really looks like.

02
Shape the right team

No pre-packed roles, no fillers. We build a team that fits the challenge — specialists who care about the outcome and want to be part of it.

03
Work in the open

We work in clear, iterative cycles with space for feedback. You always know what’s happening and why.

(Who we are)

Kolekt Lab is a studio and network of creatives and developers who choose to work together because it makes our work better.

We run like a studio, think like an extension of your team and communicate like equal partners.

Kolekt Lab was founded by Michał Kończewski and Joanna Statucka, who bring together years of experience working with both SMBs and established brands, in agencies, studios and as independent designers.

We combine strategy, design, and technology to help businesses grow with clear thinking, strong execution and a team who is just as invested in your success as you are.

Our studio thrives on curiosity, originality, and attention to detail, approaching each project with care and collaboration to create experiences that leave a lasting impression in various markets.

We are guided by creativity, integrity, and collaboration, striving to turn bold ideas into meaningful work while ensuring every project reflects innovation and purpose.

(Our values)
Human Experience

People are at the heart of our work, and we design experiences, products, and campaigns that resonate, empower, and meaningfully connect with real human needs, emotions, and behaviors.

Design with Purpose

Every decision we make is intentional, balancing aesthetics and function to produce work that resonates deeply while achieving strategic goals efficiently

Sustainable Impact

We prioritize creating work that matters long-term, integrating environmental awareness, social responsibility, and cultural relevance into every project to ensure our contributions have a positive and enduring effect.

(FAQs)
How do you usually start a new project?

We start with a conversation. We get on a call, ask a few targeted questions to understand your goals, constraints and context. If it's a good fit, we move into a structured proposal phase where we present the scope and process, timeline and discuss budget options.

What’s included in a typical branding or website scope?

It depends on where you're starting from. A branding project typically includes defining strategy, visual identity system, and usage guidelines. A website project typically covers website structure (UX), visual design (UI) and development, often with content structure and copywriting support. We'll outline exactly what's included in your scope before we start.

How long does it take to complete a project?

It depends on scope. A brand identity or website typically takes anywhere from six weeks to a few months. After an initial conversation, we'll give you a clear timeline tailored to your project.

How much do your services cost?

We don't publish fixed rates. Every project is scoped individually based on your goals, team composition and timeline. After an initial conversation, we put together a clear estimate with no vague ranges or surprise costs. If budget is a real constraint, we'll tell you honestly what's realistic within it.

What kind of clients do you work with?

We work with growing businesses and established brands, usually at a point where design and technology decisions start to have real business impact. Most clients come to us when they need more than execution: clarity on direction, a fresh perspective or a partner who can bring strategy, design, and development together into one coherent approach.

Can we start small and scale the collaboration later?

Yes. We take on focused engagements when the scope and fit make sense. Some of our longer relationships started with a single, well-defined task. If there's a natural path to grow the work, we'll be straightforward about it.

What makes Kolekt Lab different from a traditional agency or freelancer?

Both models have trade-offs: agencies often come with overhead, slow processes and teams you didn't choose. Freelancers offer flexibility but usually work alone. We sit in between — a structured studio with a flexible team model. You get specialists chosen for your specific project, with clear ownership and a consistent point of contact throughout.

Can you work with my in-house team or existing developers?

Yes. We're comfortable working alongside in-house teams, existing developers or other vendors. We adapt to your setup whether that means leading the work end-to-end or stepping into a specific part of the process.

How involved do I need to be in the process?

Your input shapes the outcome, especially at key decision points. We guide the process and make sure you're never left guessing what comes next, but we rely on your knowledge of the business to make the work land.
